Sharon L. Dunn, PT, PhD, OCS

Sharon Dunn, PT, PhD, OCS is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Director of the Physical Therapy Program at LSUHSC in Shreveport, LA. She obtained her BS in PT, a Masters degree in Health Sciences, and a PhD in Cellular Biology and Anatomy from LSUHSC.  She is board certified by ABPTS in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and her area of teaching and clinical practice is in biomechanics and orthopaedics. Her research focus is on the effects of mechanically loading injured and healing tissues.  She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the American Physical Therapy Association.
