Pamela Scarborough, PT, MS, CDE, CWS, FACCWS

Ms. Scarborough is a physical therapist with over 30 years experience as a clinician, team leader and professional educator.  Her clinical practice has included the settings of acute and long-term care, outpatient services, and home health.  In addition to holding a license to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas, she is board certified as both a diabetes educator (CDE) and wound specialists (CWS).

 

She is currently the Director of Clinical Development for American Medical Technologies, Inc., a national company specializing in wound care education, services and products for the long-term care industry.

 

As a well known educator and speaker, Ms. Scarborough frequently presents at  national symposiums and conferences.  She is highly sought after to provide continuing education lectures and seminars in the fields of wound management and diabetes care and complications.

 

She has published articles, monographs and contributed to book publications on topics related to wound care and diabetes management.  Ms. Scarborough serves on the Board of Directors of the College of Certified Wound Specialists.  In addition, she is on the speaker’s bureau for several professional organizations and has served on numerous professional boards and conference planning committees over her extensive career.

 

Ms. Scarborough currently lives in The Village of Wimberley located in the Texas Hill Country.
